They may not for longer, Mitsu has had very weak sales in Canada in recent years, and if you’ve driven any of their products, you’d know why. The RVR feels like a lifted tin can, with a drivetrain and interior from the late 80’s. It’s loud and gutless and enjoys a higher rollover risk.

No amount of warranty or marketing bullshit (their AWD is called AWC - “All Wheel Control”) can overcome its inherent shittyness.

A friend of mine has one. Unfortunately you can’t get awd with a stick so he’s got the CVT, which isn’t great. It’s underpowered too with the 2.0L but apparently there is a 2.4L available now which should help.
